Need your help, gentle readers!
Santa Claus is apparently going to bring a Jack Russell terrier puppy for my children and we have not been able to come up with a really good name yet. The puppy is just beautiful (we'll post pics after Christmas) and is a girl. ANY suggestions you have, please give feedback.
I've been thinking of names like Lady Thatcher and Abigail (for Abigail Adams), but my husband, a lawyer, thinks that "Tort Feaser" is far more appropriate. Hmmmmm.
So. Give me your thoughts on the subject and help name our puppy!

Please! Not Tort Feaser. I like the Lady Margeret Thatcher idea. She could be Maggie for short.
A Jack Russell Terrier positively begs for a "strong" name, and moreover a traditional sounding one as well. I propose 'Betsy' as in Betsy Ross, American patriot; as a variant of Elizabeth, Queen of England - a staunch, longtime ally of American interests!
Such a decidedly old-fashioned diminutive would be like a "retro" punch in the nose of liberal feminism as well. "Rosie the riveter" and her best friend, Betsy, buying War Bonds...
Think of the fun that could be had, and all the arcane references that could be connected! Think of all the family memories waiting to be made!
Good luck, Merry Christmas and best wishes with the pup!
