Ok, I admit it. I've been gone a few days.

A few speeches, conferences, etc. It's been busy.

But utter chaos is about to set in. Thursday morning at 9:30 Am in 226 Dirksen Senate Office Building, several judicial nominees will be discussed by the Senate Judiciary Committee and possibly voted out of committee.

There is so much disinformation about filibuster reform out there right now that even some of the good conservative folks are fallin' for it hook, line and sinker. Will go through it bit by bit tomorrow. Sorta on the worn out side tonight.

Here's the bottom line, though, friends -- the filibuster will not be completely eliminated. Not now, not ever. The filibuster unconstitutionally applied to judicial nominees will be eliminated thereby returning over 200 years of Senate tradition to its proper constitutional role. Period. End of story.

Tomorrow is another day. More on it tomorrow.
