God forgive you for your thoughtless, heartless, cruel response.

Barbara was a dear friend and there is not a day that goes by that I don't miss her with all of my heart.

If you are one of those conspiracy theorist nutcases who believes that terrorists didn't attack our nation, then double up on the thorazine and spare the rest of us who lost friends and loved ones on that terrible day from your lunatic rantings.

It wasn't merely Republicans or Democrats who died that day -- it was Americans and personally, I don't care what political party they were in.

I am praying for you.

That is a sick and pathetic thing to say.

The coward writes depraved and evil comments and hides behind the "Anonymous" tag.

Typical.

Climb back under the rock that you crawled out from under.

You know, I went to law school with Barbara here in NYC. I was then and am now as left wing as she was right wing and we argued often about politics and the law. However, we were able to be part of the same study group and yes, we were even able to laugh and have fun together. The truth is, she had a heart of gold, regardless of her politics. It appalls me to know that someone who didn't even know her fancies him or herself a better person simply by virtue of not being a right wing conservative. I shudder to think, being a diehard anti-Republican and long-time protester myself, that, at some level, you may consider yourself a decent and moral human being because you're a self-proclaimed a "liberal". It sounds to me like you don't have much respect for the First Amendment's political free speech protections. That sounds like a facist's point of view (like Hitler, Moussolini, Stalin, et al.) not that of a "liberal" or democracy-minded thinker. The comments you made make me ashamed to be affiliated with any political group or party that would accept you as a member. Only the lowest form of human being would rejoice and make vulgar and crude remarks about someone who was murdered. Perhaps you need to do more work on your humanity and leave politics to those who are more evolved as human beings. Do all of us who oppose the Republicans and conservatives a big favor, stay in your infantile name-calling junior high school group until you're ready to join the politically and socially mature world of adults who take action to make change happen rather than resorting to name-calling.
