Where have I been?

No need for concern -- just went in for a wee bit o' surgery.
I'm now part bionic.

Interesting stuff actually. Had a titanium plate put on my spine
in my neck after getting the blown disks taken out. And I now
have this handy dandy little card with my x-rays on it to take
into airports now through metal detectors cause apparently
I'm going to beep.

Great. And here I thought it was just my magnetic personality.

But now I am slowly but surely getting back up and around.

Which is more than I can say for the Miers nomination.

Man. I leave for a week or two and all hell breaks loose.

But what can be said in defense of THIS?
