Moveon.org flooding newspapers with filibuster misinformation.....

With thanks to Michelle Malkin and Greg Pierce, we have now discovered MoveOn.org's latest scheme -- flood newspapers across the nation with pre-fab letters to the editor about filibuster reform -- riddled with errors, myths, misinformation and the usual garbage. And it would seem that these newspapers can't get enough.

Help me get the truth about filibuster reform out there -- go to www.fairjudiciary.com and contribute. .......

Double standard of Whistleblowing.

From the Washington Times’ Culture Briefs column:

How you'll know "With Dan Rather's departure from the 'CBS Evening News' last week, there has been a lot of debate about whether or not there is a liberal bias in the mainstream media — as if that were a debatable point. ... "You will know the mainstream media is no longer biased. ... "When whistleblowers Linda Tripp and Manuel Miranda are treated by the media in a manner comparable to the way Richard Clarke, Paul O'Neill and Joe Wilson were treated. ... "When every conservative judicial nominee is no longer referred to as 'extreme' or 'controversial' simply because they are opposed by the Democrats. ... "When phrases like 'big union,' 'big abortion,' and 'big trial lawyers' are as common as 'big oil' and 'big tobacco' in news stories." — Lorie Byrd, writing on "Show Me," March 17 in the American Spectator Online at www.spectator.org

This will break your heart.

Mother Arrested Trying to Stop Teen Daughter From Having AbortionGranite City, IL (www.LifeNews.com) -- A Southern Illinois woman was arrested after trying to stop her 14-year-old daughter from having an abortion.

The woman came to Hope Abortion Clinic in Granite City to try to find her daughter, who she found out was not at school.

"My husband and I rushed to the abortion clinic where we saw our daughter's name on the roster and the time she had checked in," the mother told the Illinois Leader.

She then took a seat near the main desk, but "was told I could not prove my daughter was there so I began calling her name.

A medical tech at the clinic told me, 'It's your daughter's rights, it's her body. You have no rights.'"

Authorities were called in, according to the Leader, and the mother was arrested after she continued to call out her daughter's name and cried out, "Don't do it."

The girl told her mother she could hear her but when she asked workers to give her mother a message, they came back to the room and told her that her mother had left.

The girl was reportedly taken to the abortion facility by the mother of the man who allegedly impregnated the 14-year-old, the Leader reported. The woman, posing as the girl's grandmother, had the girl called off from school.

When the girl left the abortion facility after having an abortion, employees told her, "No one will ever know you were here, we'll bury your records." Read the complete story.

Ok, I admit it. I've been gone a few days.

A few speeches, conferences, etc. It's been busy.

But utter chaos is about to set in. Thursday morning at 9:30 Am in 226 Dirksen Senate Office Building, several judicial nominees will be discussed by the Senate Judiciary Committee and possibly voted out of committee.

There is so much disinformation about filibuster reform out there right now that even some of the good conservative folks are fallin' for it hook, line and sinker. Will go through it bit by bit tomorrow. Sorta on the worn out side tonight.

Here's the bottom line, though, friends -- the filibuster will not be completely eliminated. Not now, not ever. The filibuster unconstitutionally applied to judicial nominees will be eliminated thereby returning over 200 years of Senate tradition to its proper constitutional role. Period. End of story.

Tomorrow is another day. More on it tomorrow.

Boxer has finally gone completely round the bend.

In this article, Boxer claims that filibuster reform will actually harm newspapers too.

Now I've heard just about everything.
